Compass Offices launch Telepresence Video Conferencing in Hong Kong and Singapore.

Compass Offices have been the success story in the Hong Kong Serviced Market going from zero to hero in a few short years. Compass Offices is now the number one Serviced Office provider in Hong Kong and have made great strides forward.

HONG KONG, February 01, 2012 /Business PR News/ -- What is Telepresence and how do Compass Offices plan to use it?

Alastair Gledhill of Compass Offices announced the opening of its first two TP locations in; Singapore Prudential Tower and Hong Kong Central Building.

Compass Offices also announced its partnership with Tata Communications, adding a new dimension to its product range.

Alastair Gledhill of Compass offices said "This service is tailor made for those who want to have a face-to-face Video Conference with multiple participants in different locations across the world without having to fly everyone in, at Compass Offices believe that Telepresence is the answer to having that face to face meeting with customers and co workers anywhere in the world."

Alastair elaborated further "Telepresence Video Conferencing is an immersive meeting experience that offers the ultimate video and audio clarity with life sized projections. Screens of this size are a world away from a video call on a computer and transform the experience. You feel as though you are at the same table having a face to face meeting."

"The delivery system is another factor that makes the difference with this form of advanced video conferencing, everyone knows the frustration of dropped calls and lost signal during a traditional video conference and how such events can kill the flow of a meeting or even bring the meeting to an early close. This situation is not ideal in an in-house meeting or conference but how much more important is it to not allow this to happen in a pitch for new business or that important first meeting with a new client." Continued Alastair.

In relation to the technical hardware and software required Alastair told us; "Cisco Telepresence System and Tata Communication network are the systems we use for our Video Conferencing Facilities, we feel that the ultra-high definition projection and the data delivery system combine to make this the ultimate face-to-face virtual visual experience."

In answer to the question 'How is it different to a Video Conference? ' Alastair replied "Telepresence with Compass Offices allows up to 48 screens in the one conference room, this really does take the Video conference to a new dimension and each party attending the meeting can see and talk to every other participant simultaneously. Participants can go to a number of locations across the world including Compass Offices suites and conference facilities in Hong Kong, Singapore and Tokyo to access the facilities.

Compass Offices have added another string to their bow with the introduction of this high tech video conferencing facility and it is sure to prove popular throughout Asia.
